Okay, I know Halloween is over for 2009 and I know Busch Gardens Europe (Williamsburg, VA.) Howl-o-scream is done until next year, but I wanted to make a post about a fantastic show they have that is very entertaining and has a phenomenal cast. The show is named Monster Stomp revamped and for those of you that have seen it know what I’m talking about. I added a clip with some of the cast, but this is one part of a show that is captivating from start to finish.
It’s a Halloween based show held at the Abbeystone Theater in Ireland at BGE where witches, werewolves, skeletons and vampires all come out to play with the townsfolk (and even the audience) . It is somewhat like the show stomp, but has it’s own unique flavor. Music, Dancing, audience interaction, and so much more. There is something for everyone.
The male and female lead sound excellent during their singing as well as showmanship and the entire cast are wonderfully talented entertainers, dancers and musicians. If you missed this show, you really missed something special. The cast is almost the same as last year (the lead female vocalist is new to the production and she is an excellent and welcome addition to the cast, you will see great things from her in the future.) I hope this cast comes together next year for a repeat performance, if they do, this is a can’t miss show. A year is a long time to keep a cast like this together, especially for a third year. It’s worth the trip to BGE just to see this show, but get in line early as this show does have a tendency to sell out. (Side note, if any of the cast is interested in doing an interview to be featured here, contact me and we’ll set it up.) I will keep you up to date on this show for next year.
My hats off to the entire cast. Excellent job. Well Done.
